Colorado Rockies shortstop and first-round draft pick Brendan Rodgers had an interesting Sunday morning.
Unbeknownst to him, over in England, another Brendan Rodgers was getting fired as the manager of English Premier League outfit Liverpool, causing a bit of an uproar as the soccer world reacted to the news.
The baseball-playing Rodgers, blue check mark emblazoned on his Twitter handle, was mistaken for the now-former Liverpool manager, forcing him to send this quick message out to those suddenly tagging him in Tweets.
IM NOT THE LIVER POOL MANAGER

Not yet, anyway: Liverpool is looking for a new manager. Might as well throw your hat in, no?
