West Ham is on the verge of bolstering its attacking options with Croatian international Nikica Jelavic.
The Hull City forward, who also played for Everton, will give manager Slaven Bilic some relief after injuries to Enner Valencia, Mauro Zarate, and Andy Carroll have depleted his ranks up front.
Jelavic scored eight goals as Hull was relegated from the Premier League last term, and so far has one goal in three starts in the 2015-16 Championship campaign.
