Arsenal phenom Gedion Zelalem joins Rangers on loan until January

Gedion Zelalem is, in all likelihood, going to get a significant boost in playing time over the next several months.
Both Arsenal and Rangers announced Monday that the 18-year-old American midfielder will join the Scottish club on loan until January, with the former noting that Zelalem partook in his first training session with his new teammates, and could make his debut on Wednesday.

Zelalem, who has featured in two competitive matches during his senior career with Arsenal, has been a standout performer at the youth level.
