Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has returned from injury and will captain his side for its home opener at White Hart Lane as Spurs take on Stoke City.
Lloris missed his side's season opener after suffering a fractured wrist back in mid-July. He'll return to the starting XI Saturday.
Giving Lloris the captain's armband is a big show of faith from club manager Mauricio Pochettino, after the French goalkeeper admitted he would consider a move to a team playing in the UEFA Champions League.
