Lloris missed his side's season opener after suffering a fractured wrist back in mid-July. He'll return to the starting XI Saturday.
Giving Lloris the captain's armband is a big show of faith from club manager Mauricio Pochettino, after the French goalkeeper admitted he would consider a move to a team playing in the UEFA Champions League.
