Report: Liverpool submit £10-million bid for Inter's Mateo Kovacic

Liverpool is looking to go back to a well that has been very good to them in the past.

ESPN FC reports that the Reds have tabled a £10-million bid for Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic, the 21-year-old Croatian midfielder who has proven to be one of the club's brightest attacking stars since arriving in Serie A two years ago.

Liverpool, who will be in the market for some midfield help with the departure of Steven Gerrard, has found plenty of success in previous dealings with Inter, as their £8.5-million signing of Philippe Coutinho in 2013 has proven to be nothing short of grand larceny.
