Fiorentina manager confirms Juan Cuadrado's transfer to Chelsea
Reuters
Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Montella dropped a bombshell Friday when he confirmed that Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado has signed with Chelsea.
"It was a sale that had to be done," Montella said on the team's website.
Chelsea have yet to confirm the transfer, but all signs indicate the deal is all but done.
Out-of-favour midfielder Mohamed Salah is reportedly heading the other way after a frustrating tenure with Chelsea, and will join Fiorentina where playing time shouldn't be so hard to come by.
