Report: Manchester United can terminate Falcao's loan agreement if knee injury returns
Whether or not Radamel Falcao proves to be a success at Manchester United remains to be seen, but the club reportedly has a plan in place should he experience a recurrence of the knee injury that sidelined him for over six months and ruled him out of the World Cup.
Specifically, according to the Independent, United have an agreement with Monaco to cut short Falcao's loan deal and send him back to the Ligue 1 club in the event of another knee injury.
The Colombian striker tore his anterior cruciate ligament in January and tore ligaments in his right knee on two occasions during his time at River Plate. While Falcao insists he has "confidence" in his physical form and is "comfortable" with his knee, an injury history like his is obviously somewhat concerning.
