Top story: Big Bastoni bid brewing

Liverpool's need for a new center-back continues to grow. Ibrahima Konate is in the final year of his contract and defensive vulnerabilities have hampered Arne Slot's team in the opening months of the campaign. The Reds believe Alessandro Bastoni could be their new defensive anchor for years to come as they admire his speed, distribution, and leadership qualities.

Bastoni is irreplaceable at Inter and is under contract until 2028, so it would take a gargantuan offer to encourage the Nerazzurri to offload the 26-year-old. Liverpool are considering a bid in the region of €115 million. (Fichajes)
