North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are battling over the signing of Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze. The 26-year-old has been a longstanding target for Spurs, but Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta recently held talks with Eze's representatives to discuss a potential transfer.

The England international has a release clause in his Palace contract worth £68 million, and Arsenal view him as a more affordable alternative to Real Madrid's Rodrygo. (The Sun)
