Report: Victor Moses the latest victim of Chelsea's hamstring curse
Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses is set to miss at least four weeks after injuring his hamstring during a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace, according to Matt Law of the Telegraph.
Moses would be the third player in Antonio Conte's side to pick up this very injury in the last few weeks, following Alvaro Morata and N'Golo Kante into the physio's office and onto the sidelines.
Law reports the initial assessment has Moses pegged to miss a minimum of four weeks, which would rule him out for a Nov. 5 match against Manchester United, as well as both of the Blues' Champions League bouts with AS Roma.
New signing Davide Zappacosta will likely earn the nod out wide in Moses' absence, though Law points out Conte has considered deputising Antonio Rudiger for the right-back slot, too.
Chelsea has had its lack of depth exposed in recent weeks as last-placed Crystal Palace got the better of the Blues at Selhurst Park last weekend. Meanwhile, Morata and Danny Drinkwater continue working to regain full fitness to bolster Conte's ranks once more.
