Welcome back to Champions League football, Chelsea.
It took all of five minutes for the Blues to break down Azerbaijan side Qarabag in the club's first foray back into Europe's continental competition since the 2015-16 season as Pedro smacked home a one-time shot off a short corner.
It was equal parts thunderous and finessed, serving as the perfect reminder of what the lions of London are capable of in this storied contest. It was also the first goal Chelsea has scored in the competition since March 16, 2016, when Diego Costa notched a consolatory effort against Paris Saint-Germain.
