Antalyaspor admits low-ball bid for Arsenal's Wilshere
Turkish side Antalyaspor has submitted a bid for out-of-favour Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, though it may not be rich enough for the north London lot's tastes.
With one season left on his current Arsenal deal on the heels of a mercurial season-long loan at Bournemouth, Wilshere has been linked with a summer sale to Sampdoria, West Ham, Newcastle, and Swansea City.
Reports have suggested that Sampdoria tabled a £6-million bid that could rise to £7.5 million with add-ons that was promptly rejected, and now, Antalyaspor is in the same boat according to club president Ali Sakak Ozturk.
"We made an enquiry and are in talks but Arsenal want a lot for Wilshere," Ozturk told Turkish Football, courtesy of ESPN FC. "It will be a difficult move to pull off."
Arsenal is reportedly demanding no less than £20 million for the 25-year-old midfielder who is currently recovering from a broken leg suffered in April against Tottenham.
