Watch: Pedro fires home screamer as Chelsea closes in on title
An hour of football couldn't separate the Premier League's two blue-clad outfits, but a Pedro strike in the 66th minute certainly did.
The Spain winger notched his eighth Chelsea goal of the season in emphatic fashion, controlling a pass from midfield from Nemanja Matic and turning to twist Everton's Phil Jagielka into a pretzel before firing home with a thunderstrike that left 'keeper Maarten Stekelenburg bamboozled.
With the goal, Pedro surpasses his season total from last year, and Chelsea inches closer and closer to cementing the Premier League title.
Pedro's effort proved the game-winner, but not the only goal in the match. Gary Cahill notched a fortuitous tap-in off a Stekelenburg error, before Willian rounded off the day with a late third to secure a 3-0 win at Goodison Park.
