Manchester City yet to sell out tickets for FA Cup clash against Arsenal
Manchester City has yet to sell its allocation of tickets for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium, the club confirmed to Sky Sports.
The team was allocated its full entitlement of 33,000 seats upon request but has yet to sell them all, partly due to a Sunday afternoon kick-off time.
Sky Sports explains that fans of City attending the game would return home late into the night on Sunday. There are also fears over travel disruption around Wembley and in London - due to the London Marathon - which could delay the return trip even further.
City still has around 2,000 tickets for sale and FA rules stipulate those tickets are available only to supporters who have previous purchase history with the club or are card-holding members of Manchester City.
