Jamie Vardy's seventh goal in 10 matches was enough to briefly double Leicester City's lead Saturday at Crystal Palace courtesy of a dazzling run and dart inside that made a fool of former teammate Jeffrey Schlupp.
Yohan Cabaye cut the Foxes' lead in half two minutes later, before Christian Benteke's 70th-minute header brought the sides level, ensuring that both would gain only an additional point in their drive to avoid relegation.
