Bournemouth backup Federici out for the season

Bournemouth should've stepped up its pursuit for Asmir Begovic in January.
Eddie Howe spearheaded a well-publicised attempt to acquire Chelsea's second-choice shot-stopper in the winter transfer window as he sought a replacement for Artur Boruc.
Now, following an injury to Adam Federici's right knee cartilage on the south coast, Boruc will be backed up by Ryan Allsop - the 24-year-old who has one Premier League appearance to his name - for the remainder of the campaign.
"It's a real blow for us to lose Adam," Howe told the club website. "But knowing his character, he will dig deep and work hard to get back to fitness.
"As a club, we'll be there to support him every step of the way."
