It's just a matter of time before Robert Snodgrass joins West Ham United.

Hull City Manager Marco Silva revealed that the club has accepted West Ham's bid - reportedly worth £10 million - for the wantaway Scotland international, adding that he expects the transfer to be announced shortly.

“It could be done in the next few hours," Silva told reporters after Hull City's defeat to Manchester United in the EFL Cup semi-final. "They've accepted the bid from West Ham.

"He's not trained with the team for the last few days. We don't want to lose our best players but we have to find solutions. Player wants to go."

Snodgrass - who appeared close to a move to Burnley after Hull reportedly accepted a bid from the Clarets - is expected to travel to east London Friday where he will discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.

Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace, Watford, Swansea City, Sunderland, and Bournemouth were also linked with a move for the 29-year-old.

Rumblings of his potential departure emerged in December when Snodgrass reportedly turned down an offer to extend his stay at Hull.

Snodgrass leads his team in scoring with seven goals and three assists in 20 Premier League appearances this season.
