Report: Snodgrass turns down new Hull City contract
Robert Snodgrass could be in search of a new home after rejecting a new contract to extend his stay at Hull City.
With his current deal set to expire in the summer, Hull's effort to add another year to ensure his presence in the squad next year has been turned down by the Scotland international, Paul Vinnell of Sky Sports reports.
The report adds that Snodgrass may have his sights set on joining one of Hull's Premier League rivals, as Vinnell suggests clubs are monitoring the situation closely.
Considering that there would be less than six months remaining on his contract once the winter transfer window opens, the 29-year-old could technically negotiate with interested suitors in January and agree to a move that would see him join his new team once he completes the season at Hull City.
After a devastating knee injury sidelined him for a year, Snodgrass has returned to play a pivotal role for both club and country.
Snodgrass has managed five goals for the last-place Premier League side, and has added another three for the Scottish national team since his return from injury.
