Report: West Ham trumps Burnley bid to join Snodgrass chase
Hull City has accepted West Ham United's bid in the region of £10 million for Robert Snodgrass, according to BBC Sport.
West Ham's offer is believed to be slightly higher than the one Burnley had approved by the Tigers a day earlier, leaving Snodgrass to consider his options as he's yet to conduct a medical away from Humberside.
Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka also confirmed his employer had lodged a bid for the Scottish winger, but he believed the approach was turned down.
"(Snodgrass is) a player I like," the Spaniard said, as quoted by the Teesside Gazette. "The club is working on offers with Hull. He's a player I like a lot.
"I think they rejected an offer from us but the club is working.
"You don't need to go to university to know (Hull don't want to sell to a rival) but he's a player who we like and who we want to bring here."
In addition to those submitting bids, Crystal Palace, Watford, Swansea City, Sunderland, and Bournemouth are all monitoring the situation, according to a report from the Guardian's Ed Aarons on Wednesday.
With seven Premier League goals this term, Snodgrass is the top scorer for 19th-placed Hull, but was subject of reports that he wanted to leave the KCOM Stadium at the end of last year until his employer exercised an option to extend his contract until 2018.
The 29-year-old was unavailable for last Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Chelsea due to what his boss Marco Silva described as "a small injury in the knee."
