Drogba: Mourinho is not a 'has-been'
Chelsea legend Didier Drogba said his old manager Jose Mourinho has been unfairly criticised at the start of his tenure with Manchester United.
Drogba, currently with the Montreal Impact in MLS, backed the Portuguese tactician, who's managed Manchester United to five wins, three draws, and three losses to start the 2016-17 Premier League season.
The Red Devils, currently sixth in the domestic table, have also struggled in the Europa League. But Drogba has faith that Mourinho will turn it all around.
"He's not a has-been," Drogba told RTL, as quoted by ESPN FC.
"I think that it's a very big challenge for him. I think he has to take some time to build a team."
Drogba's Montreal team is currently seeking its first MLS Cup victory, drawn against bitter rival Toronto FC in the playoff conference finals.
