Leicester's Mendy forced off vs. Arsenal with ankle injury

Summer signing Nampalys Mendy's Leicester City debut didn't quite go to plan as the midfielder limped off Sunday in the 53rd minute against Arsenal at King Power Stadium.
Mendy, who was brought in from Nice to cover for N'Golo Kante's departure to Chelsea, collapsed awkwardly on his ankle after getting his studs caught in the pitch while trying to intercept a pass minutes after the interval.
In 53 minutes played, Mendy completed 13 of 13 passes for a stunning first appearance with the Foxes despite the injury.
The pint-sized midfield lynchpin was taken off for Andy King, who started alongside Danny Drinkwater in Leicester's opening weekend defeat to Hull City.
