Mired in the drama of the now-ongoing Paul Pogba transfer saga, Manchester United is also reportedly keen on signing another of Juventus' key pieces, with sources telling ESPN FC that the Red Devils have inquired about the sale status of central defender Leonardo Bonucci.
Manchester United is reportedly closing in on a £92-million deal for the French midfielder, but ESPN FC reports that Bonucci's name has also come up in possible discussions between the two parties, with new manager Jose Mourinho keen on adding the Italian to his back line for the 2016-17 season.
The report further discloses that Bonucci has also been targeted by Chelsea and Manchester City, with sources alleging that City is in more advanced stages of negotiations, as Juventus asks for €60 million.
United is also reportedly considering Everton defender John Stones.
