Arsenal's Ramsey to wear retired Arteta's No. 8 next season

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has shed his No. 16 shirt for in favour of the No. 8 shirt left vacant after club captain Mikel Arteta announced his retirement to reportedly join the Manchester City training staff under Pep Guardiola.
The club announced the change in kit number with a quick rundown of some of the iconic players who have donned eight upon their backs, which also includes the likes of Freddie Ljungberg, Ian Wright, and Alan Sunderland.

Ramsey earned the new number after spending eight years with the Gunners, making 187 Premier League appearances, scoring 28 goals in that time.
