Whoever wrote this particular script for Monday's edition of SportsCenter has some explaining to do.

After Leicester City was crowned Premier League champion by virtue of Tottenham's 2-2 draw against Chelsea earlier in the day, ESPN was ready to go live to England for reaction from a host of euphoric Foxes' fans.

There's only one problem: the teleprompter had a minor (read: enormous) error, prompting the anchor to unwittingly announce, in the most excited tone, that Tottenham had won the league title.

They did it. They really did it.

Leicester City, a 5000-1 underdog to hoist the Premier League crown coming into the campaign, did exactly that on Monday - a 2-2 draw between Tottenham and Chelsea the deciding result.

That scoreline at Stamford Bridge was enough for Claudio Ranieri and his band of cast-offs to claim a first-ever title in the club's 132-year history, mathematically eliminating second-place Spurs from contention for the crown.
