Wenger brushes aside trophy talk, focuses on Arsenal's 'mental damage'
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wasn't interested in entertaining hypothetical scenarios or do the mental math regarding his side's chances at climbing the Premier League table.
Instead, the embattled veteran tactician chose to lament his side's listless 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, one that left his team wanting for more despite dominating the match throughout the 90 minutes.
"I'm very, very disappointed. It's one of those days where you would like to not do a press conference after the game because it's nothing pleasant," Wenger said, according to ESPN FC, who went on to explain he's also not in the mood to "dream about the championship."
"I'm more in the kind of mood to repair the mental damage and prepare for the next game," Wenger explained. "It's much more about that and to look behind us. Because everyone is playing well and winning games. For us it will be a fight until the end to stay in the top four.

"If we can do more, we'll do more. But let's not dream and focus on the next game."
Fair enough - Arsenal's next match is against West Brom at the Emirates, one of five remaining fixtures in the 2015-16 Premier League season. The Gunners' latest draw puts Wenger's side in a precarious fourth position, tied with Manchester City with 60 points, 13 behind first-placed Leicester City and five behind arch-rival Tottenham.
