Guardiola: 'I'm not going to Juventus in next 2 seasons'
Pep Guardiola has refuted claims from Italy's Radio CRC that he's verbally agreed to take over Juventus.
"I have two more years and moving is impossible unless they sack me," the Manchester City manager said on Saturday, as reported by The Telegraph's Sam Wallace. "I will stay two more years or more. I'm not going to Juventus in (the) next two seasons."
The links were ignited when Il Giornale journalist Luigi Guelpa said on the Italian airwaves that Guardiola had reached an agreement with the Old Lady on a four-year contract. His deal at Manchester City runs until the end of the 2020-21 Premier League campaign.
Current Juventus handler, Massimiliano Allegri, will discuss his future with chairman Andrea Agnelli following Tuesday's second leg with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16, according to Sky Sports. He is understood to be considering a new challenge in his career while he hunts down his fifth consecutive title and Juventus' eighth straight Scudetto.
Guardiola was drawn into speaking on Guelpa's account following Saturday's 3-1 win over Watford. Manchester City have a four-point lead atop the Premier League, but Liverpool will play their game in hand against Burnley on Sunday.
