PSV midfielder Andres Guardado to miss a few weeks with ankle injury

PSV Eindhoven midfielder Andres Guardado will be sidelined for a few weeks with an ankle ligament injury, the club confirmed Wednesday.
The Mexican international sustained the injury during his side's 2-1 win over Manchester United in the first match of the UEFA Champions League group stage on a Chris Smalling foul tackle.
The club said Guardado's ankle was swollen to twice its normal size immediately following the match and that the team's medical staff will set up further scans once the swelling has come down.
That second scan will give the team an accurate time frame for his recovery.
