All-Star WR Schoen inks 1-year deal to remain in Winnipeg
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are re-signing star wide receiver Dalton Schoen to a one-year deal, the team announced on Tuesday.
Schoen will reportedly earn $230K this upcoming season, sources told 3 Down Nation's John Hodge.
Since his 2022 debut, Schoen has proven to be among the more productive wideouts in the league. The Kansas State product hauled in 70 receptions for 1,441 yards and set a franchise record for first-year players with 16 touchdowns en route to winning the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award.
The 6-foot-1, 218-pound pass-catcher followed his debut campaign by leading Winnipeg with 71 receptions for 1,222 yards and 10 scores in the 2023 season. Schoen was also named a CFL All-Star for the second consecutive campaign.
Quarterback Zach Collaros will have familiar faces in the huddle for the 2024 season. Winnipeg also announced it re-signed star running back Brady Oliveira to a two-year deal earlier on Tuesday.
