Toronto Argonauts quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson passed CFL legend Doug Flutie for fourth on the franchise's all-time passing yards list during Friday's game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Flutie threw for 11,225 yards and won two Grey Cups in two seasons in Toronto after joining the team in 1996.

Ricky Ray holds the record for most passing yards in Argonauts history with 20,205, while Condredge Holloway (16,619) and Damon Allen (13,974) sit second and third, respectively.

Bethel-Thompson has spent the last five years in Toronto, starting the last four. The veteran's best season came in 2019 when he threw for 4,024 yards and 26 touchdowns against 13 interceptions.
