Hamilton Tiger-Cats receiver Brandon Banks, the CFL's Most Outstanding Player in 2019, will not return to the 107th Grey Cup after suffering a lower-body injury, according to TSN's Matthew Scianitti.
Banks went to the sideline after taking a hit from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers' Mike Jones early in the third quarter.
The exact nature of Banks' injury is unknown, though it appeared he was favoring his groin or hip, according to Scianitti.
Banks hauled in six receptions for 72 yards before leaving the game.
