Hamilton Tiger-Cats wide receiver Mike Jones has been suspended two games for violating the CFL's drug policy, the league announced Tuesday.
Jones tested positive for dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, an anabolic steroid. In a statement, the 24-year-old said he isn't sure how the substance got into his system, but took responsibility for it anyway.
The second-year receiver has recorded 25 receptions for 267 yards this season.
Hamilton will take a 2-9 record into Friday's affair with the BC Lions.
