The 2017 CFL season kicked off last week with the Calgary Stampeders opening as the Grey Cup favourite at 3-1 odds, and while the Stamps maintained that going rate in the latest odds release, there's been some early movement down the list.
Team | Current Odds | Opening Odds (Apr. 1) |
---|---|---|
Calgary Stampeders | 3/1 | 3/1 |
Edmonton Eskimos | 5/1 | 11/2 |
BC Lions | 11/2 | 9/2 |
Hamilton Tiger-Cats | 15/2 | 7/1 |
Montreal Alouettes | 15/2 | 17/2 |
Toronto Argonauts | 15/2 | 15/1 |
Winnipeg Blue Bombers | 8/1 | 17/2 |
Saskatchewan Roughriders | 8/1 | 12/1 |
Ottawa RedBlacks | 17/2 | 7/1 |
The Ottawa RedBlacks saw the most significant decrease, falling from 7-1 to 17-2 and currently standing as the least likely franchise to win the CFL's top prize.
The Toronto Argonauts were among the teams that capitalized on that development, moving up from the basement to sixth overall.
