Stevenson to fight Cordina on Beterbiev-Bivol undercard in Saudi Arabia
WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson will defend his title against Joe Cordina on Oct. 12 in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Season Boxing head Turki Alalshikh announced Tuesday.
Stevenson and Cordina will fight on the Artur Beterbiev versus Dmitry Bivol undercard in Riyadh.

Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) last fought in July when he defeated Artem Harutyunyan by unanimous decision. The bout marked the the last time Stevenson, 27, competed for Top Rank Boxing before becoming a free agent.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old Cordina (17-1, 9 KOs) is coming off the first loss of his professional career, a technical knockout at the hands of Anthony Cacace in May.
