Mario Balotelli has visited a consultant in Denmark as he continues to seek further treatment for a nagging groin injury.
The AC Milan striker last played a match on Sept. 27 against Genoa, one of just four appearances since re-joining the Rossoneri on loan from Liverpool.
"AC Milan communicates that Mario Balotelli was subjected to further consultation in Copenhagen by professor Per Holmich," read a statement on the club's official website. "The medical staff of AC Milan and Liverpool will agree on a new course of treatment."
There is no set timetable for his return.
