Ending speculation surrounding his future at Manchester City, Edin Dzeko has landed in the Italian capital prior to his medical with AS Roma.

Italian airline Alitalia tweeted a photo of Dzeko arriving at Rome's Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, before the Bosnian striker was greeted by Giallorossi supporters shortly thereafter.

The lanky forward had fallen out of favour at Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City, finding himself buried on the depth chart behind Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony, only making 22 Premier League appearances for the Citizens, 11 of which were substitutions.
