Hernanes leaves Juventus for Hebei Fortune in potential €10M deal
Hernanes' brief spell at Juventus is over.
The Italian club announced Thursday that a deal has been struck with Chinese side Hebei Fortune FC that will see the Brazilian midfielder make the switch for an initial fee of €8 million.
The Bianconeri could pocket an additional €2 million in potential bonuses.
The 31-year-old, whose deadline day signing from Inter in August 2015 raised many eyebrows, mustered just 31 appearances across all competitions during his time in Turin.
He nearly recorded as many red cards (1) as goals (2) in his time with the Old Lady.
Always little more than a depth option, the one-time Lazio standout was pushed down the pecking order with Claudio Marchisio's return from injury, the January signing of Tomas Rincon, and Massimiliano Allegri's recent decision to use a formation that fields only two natural central midfielders.
