Report: Jovetic to join Sevilla on loan with €14M buyout option
Inter castaway Stevan Jovetic will spend the remainder of the season in Spain after the Serie A outfit reached an agreement with Sevilla late Monday.
The Montenegrin will join Jorge Sampaoli's side on an initial loan deal which provides the Spaniards with a €14-million option to buy, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport's Matteo Brega and Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio.
Yet to make a single start for the Nerazzurri this season, Jovetic has dropped completely out of their plans. A change in manager did little to affect his fortunes: New boss Stefano Pioli has awarded the player just five minutes of playing time since his appointment in November.
La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates Jovetic rejected an offer from an unnamed Chinese club to pursue a new adventure in the Iberian peninsula.
The 27-year-old would give Sevilla another option in Sampaoli's attack, which already boasts the likes of Luciano Vietto and Wissam Ben Yedder.
