Not often does Gianluigi Buffon get fooled like that.
Israel forward Tal Ben Chaim cut Italy's lead in half Monday with a perfectly weighted chip shot that froze Buffon in his tracks.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper could only watch as Ben Chaim's effort looped up and over him.
It put a dent into Italy's early lead in this 2018 World Cup qualifier - Graziano Pelle and Antonio Candreva built a 2-0 cushion within the first half-hour.
Ciro Immobile came on as a sub to close the game out after Italy was reduced to 10 men.
