Celta Vigo reaches agreement with Fiorentina for Giuseppe Rossi
A pint-sized package is set to arrive at Balaidos.
Celta Vigo announced Saturday an agreement was reached with Fiorentina that will make Giuseppe Rossi the Galician club's fifth signing of the summer transfer window, should the final details be solved and a medical be passed.

Rossi, who stands 173 centimetres tall, spent the second half of last season in Spain, joining Levante on loan from Fiorentina. After struggling to find minutes with La Viola, he ended up making 17 appearances for Los Granotes in La Liga, during which time he tallied six goals and two assists. However, the Spanish club was ultimately relegated, making any chance of a permanent transfer unlikely.
Born in Teaneck, N.J., to Italian parents, Rossi opted to represent Italy rather than the United States men's national team. He boasts seven goals and 30 caps for the Azzurri but was last called up in 2014.
