Napoli's Pepe Reina vehemently denies Barcelona link
Pepe Reina has rubbished reports that he issued a come-and-get-me plea to Barcelona, using choice words to describe the transfer tattle.
The Napoli goalkeeper insists that he's focused on the upcoming Serie A campaign rather than returning to the club he left in 2003, as Sport and other publications suggested.
The tweet reads: "Bullshit!! I didn't offer myself to anyone!! Enough lies ... always and forever Forza Napoli!! Now let's get ready for Sunday! Clear?"
Sport claimed that Reina, 33, had offered his services last year when fellow shot-stopper Claudio Bravo's future was uncertain. He reportedly did it again this summer for the same reason, and was willing to accept a pay cut in the transfer in order to vault ahead of rumoured replacement Diego Alves of Valencia.

Reina has a history of choosing a European behemoth above Napoli - he opted for a permanent switch to Bayern Munich in 2014 despite just spending a season in Campania, but re-joined the Italian outfit the next summer. Before that, he progressed through Barca's La Masia academy, then spent three years at Villarreal, and nine years at Liverpool.
Reina, son of former Barcelona and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Miguel, missed just one league match last season.
