Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain says he is experiencing "beautiful feelings" after joining the Turin-based club out of Napoli in an incredible €90-million transfer, the third-most expensive move of all time.

The Argentina striker arrived in Turin on Wednesday and completed a second medical. He was swarmed by fans clamoring for an autograph and a photo with the club's newest star name.

"I'm experiencing beautiful feelings today and I am delighted to have joined Juventus," Higuain said, as quoted by ESPN FC. "Let's hope, as I said before, that we play a great year. We've got the team and club capable of it and I hope to give the fans some joy.

Joy comes in the form of goals for Higuain, and he found plenty of those last season, leading Serie A with 36 goals in 35 appearances to complement the two goals he scored in European competition, too.

While the pressure to perform will certainly be heightened due to the gravitas of his transfer figure, Higuain is only focusing on the present.

"The important thing is to work hard, keep calm, and arrive at the first game of the season in the best shape possible," Higuain said.

He'll find a friend up top to help with the transition in fellow Argentina striker Paulo Dybala.

"We've got a good friendship and now I'm delighted to be with him," Higuain said. "He told me it's a great team and a great squad and let's hope we can do great things this season."
