AS Roma isn't buying what Sport Mediaset is selling.

After it was reported that Juventus has agreed to buy Miralem Pjanic, Roma published a statement to dismiss the media speculation, referring to the report from Sport Mediaset as "completely groundless."

From Roma's official website:

“AS Roma denies today's report on sportmediaset.it concerning an alleged payment of the buy-out clause in Miralem Pjanic's contract as the story is completely groundless.”

Pjanic, among the greatest free-kick takers on the planet, boasts 10 goals and 11 assists to his name through 32 Serie A appearances this season. He spoke about his future at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, telling Roma TV that he's happy at the Giallorossi, but acknowledges the uncertainty surrounding his future with the club.

"Will I stay at Roma?" Pjanic said, according to beIN Sports. "In football you never know, but I have a two-year contract. I feel very well (at Roma). I am very well acclimatised, I love this city and this club and I hope one day I can win titles here."
