Winnipeg Jets forward Drew Stafford will have a hearing Monday for high-sticking Colorado Avalanche defenseman Nick Holden, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced Sunday.

Stafford - who scored two goals in Saturday's victory over the Avalanche - was assessed a double minor after his stick hit Holden in the face and momentarily forced him from the game for repairs.

The incident is a departure from the 30-year-old's usual playing style, accounting for 28.5 percent of his 14 penalty minutes this season.
