Michal Neuvirth's first start as a member of the Philadelphia Flyers was a memorable one for both the goaltender and his head coach.
The backup netminder stopped all 31 shots he faced, leading the Flyers to a 1-0 victory over the Florida Panthers.
Here's a brief glimpse of Neuvirth's work Monday night:
Philadelphia head coach Dave Hakstol earned his first NHL win after being hired by the Flyers in May.
Neuvirth made his second appearance of the season - and second against the Panthers - after stopping 19 of 22 shots in relief of Steve Mason in a 7-1 loss Saturday night.
Mason missed Monday's game due to a family matter.
