Blues' Fabbri out indefinitely with concussion
St. Louis Blues forward Robby Fabbri will be out of the lineup indefinitely with a concussion, the club announced Monday.
Farrbi suffered what the club called an upper-body injury during the first period of Saturday's game against Minnesota, on an elbow to the head behind the play delivered by Chris Porter.
"We’re going to miss Robby," said head coach Ken Hitchcock. "I was surprised on the concussion because he had three great shifts after the concussion. We’re going to miss his spunk, but (Scottie Upshall and Scott Gomez) will be excellent replacements."
The 19-year-old did not travel with the team to Calgary, where the Blues are set to kick off a season-long six-game road trip on Tuesday. No timetable has been set for his return to the lineup.
Drafted 21st overall in 2014, Fabbri scored his first regular-season goal in the Blues' opener last week.
