Zach Parise came to play.
The Minnesota Wild forward recorded a hat trick - including the game-winning goal - in Thursday's comeback win over the Colorado Avalanche.
Down 4-1 heading into the third period, Parise - who already notched a goal in the second - scored the first and fourth goals of the final frame, bringing the Wild all the way back and then some in order to steal a season-opening win over their division rivals from Denver.
The hat-trick goal was scored on the power play and came courtesy of a wicked one-timer past Semyon Varlamov.

The four third-period goals were also scored in record time.
Parise earned first-star honors and led all players with six shots on goal.
