Dave Cameron is getting some help.

The Ottawa Senators have named former Colorado Avalanche assistant Andre Tourigny as an assistant head coach on Cameron's staff.

Tourigny, 41, spent the last two seasons on the bench alongside Patrick Roy in Colorado, and has experience as a head coach and general manager in the QMJHL with Rouyn-Noranda. He also served in an assistant's role with the Canadian junior team in 2010, 2011, and 2013.

The coach will join an Ottawa club that completed last season with a 43-26-13 record.
