Detroit Red Wings top prospect Dylan Larkin isn't wasting much time making an impact at the professional level.
Larkin - playing just his second pro game - scored twice in a span of 3:33 in Game 2 of the AHL's Western Conference Final, giving his Grand Rapids Griffins a 2-0 first-period lead over the Utica Comets.
Larkin was selected 15th overall in 2014, and he signed with the Red Wings on Thursday.
The forward notched 47 points in 35 games for the University of Michigan and played well for the United States at the World Championship before joining Detroit's AHL club.
