Toews scores 2 goals in 47 seconds to ensure Sabres fans go home happy
Well that was weird.
Contrary to all logic, the Buffalo Sabres held a lead over the Chicago Blackhawks with less than two minutes remaining in Friday's contest between two clubs heading in completely opposite directions.
But then, as captains are wont to do, Jonathan Toews put his team on his back, scoring two goals in 47 seconds to give Chicago a 4-3 lead and a regulation win, much to the delight of the hometown fans.

The cheers after Toews' tying goal were from all corners of the arena, and not just from the visiting crowd. Less than a minute later, Toews made sure everyone (but the Sabres themselves) went home happy.
This reaction from local media pretty much sums it up:
This is the craziest season ever. Nothing else will ever come close to this. #Sabres
