Sabres' Ennis suffers upper-body injury in loss to Coyotes

Timothy T. Ludwig / USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Sabres' frustrating season just got worse.

After losing 5-4 to the Arizona Coyotes in overtime, Sabres head coach Ted Nolan said forward Tyler Ennis suffered an upper-body injury.

Ennis will be evaluated further and Nolan said he hopes the injury is of the short-term variety.

The first-line center left late in the second period and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

He scored a goal and added an assist before departing.
